Install

Upload to your webhost After you run the requirement checker, you can upload MailWizz EMA on your webhost and install it.
Remember, you will have to upload MailWizz EMA on your webhost in a web accessible directory.

Let's assume your domain name is example.com and you want to access MailWizz EMA when you access http://www.example.com.
In this case, you will upload the contents of MailWizz EMA into your web root directly.
In most of the cases, the web root folder is named public_html but there is also the chance to be named otherwise, depending on your host.
If you want to install MailWizz EMA in a subdirectory, say mwz, then just create it in your web root and then copy the MailWizz EMA there instead of web root directly.
In this case, MailWizz EMA will be accessible at http://www.example.com/mwz.

Install process Now that everything is uploaded, it's time to install it.

MailWizz EMA provides a step-by-step installer to ease this process for you, so all you have to do is to point your browser to the location where MailWizz EMA resides:
If MailWizz EMA has been uploaded in your web root: http://www.example.com/install
If MailWizz EMA has been uploaded in a subdirectory: http://www.example.com/mwz/install

The installer will: Check the server requirements
Check file system and prompt you to make a few files/folders writable
Import the database (you will have to provide access credentials)
Create the first system administrator (based on the data you provide)
Give you instructions on how to install the Cron Jobs
And finally will give some information about what you have to do next

The install folder After you finish installing MailWizz EMA, you MUST remove the install folder.
Also, you need to change the mode of the main configuration file back to 0644.
If you forget to do any of these, after you login into your admin panel, you will see a few messages reminding you to do so.
